I suck at blogging lately!!

So for weeks I have been thinking that i need to blog, but just haven't done it!! I just haven't had that blogging desire. But I am deciding that today I want to do it whether I really feel like it or not. It has been sooo long! So, here is just a recap of what has been going on since March!! Not much really happened in March besides the miscarriage, which sucked, but helped me grow so much! It made me even more grateful to have the gospel in my life because without it, who knows where I would be. So in April we got to go to Disneyland with some great friends of ours! We had been planning it for sometime, and since I was going to be about 4 months pregnant we decided we were flying!! The plans to fly were already made, so even though I wasn't pregnant anymore we still went ahead and kept the plans to fly. I had never flown before so that was really scary/fun! But it ended up not being to bad! And it was fun to be able to do it with Kyri. And I had never been to Disneyland before either, so it was fun to be able to be there for the first time with my little family and the Hovers. We had alot of fun while we were in Cali. Our first trip to the beach was a disaster!! It was SOO windy that we ate lots of sand, and had it EVERYWHERE. We weren't able to play in the water because it was just such a bad day. We got to go to Sea World and had fun there and actually got to feed and pet the dolphins! It was lots of fun! On the way back to our hotel, we decided to make another trip to the beach. This time it was right before the sun was setting, and the weather was pretty good. It was much more fun than the 1st time. :) All in all the trip was great and we were sad when it was time to come home!! In May we got the final word that we had to move out of our house. We had been trying to get a modification on our loan, so that we didn't have to move, but the company we were working with had done all they could, and the bank would not help us at all! So we lost our house, but got to move closer to all of our family which was great! I had been wanting to move back to American Fork for quite a while, so while losing our house sucked, I was happy to be able to move back! We found an apartment around the corner from Brandons parents, and it was in our price range, so we filled out the paper work, waited a few days and then were able to move in just in time to be out of our house when we were supposed to be! It was all so ment to be. Everything seemed like it was falling into place! We live in a duplex, and just LOVE our neighbors! They are the best!! Kyri also turned 2 in May which is crazy!! I can't believe how fast she is growing. She is so fun, and makes me smile everyday!! June we got a new member to Brandons side of the family! Little baby Clara! She is so cute!! We were excited for her to get here!! Kyri loves to see her and always asks to pet her... I have to remind her every time that she is not a dog!! June, July and August my sister in law and I did a bunch of boutiques. Even though it was a lot of work and you never really knew how good or bad you were going to do we had a BLAST spending all those Saturdays together selling what we had so much fun making!! Other than that those 3 months were just spent playing outside, camping, hanging with family, having bbqs, going swimming. We put Kyri in swim lessons twice this summer. The first time she didn't know anybody in her little class, so at first it was a fight to get her into the pool without crying, but when the class was about over she started to really enjoy going and had lots of fun! The 2nd time we signed her up with her BFF Mylie!! They had alot of fun being there together. And it was fun to be able to watch them. By the time that the classes were done Kyri REALLY loved swimming!! Oh and in July we got Kyris ears pierced! She was a trooper! She only cried for about 10 min! They are so cute on her! We just bought her a new pair of earring to change out for her other ones. They are cute little Minnies. She screamed bloody murder when we were changing them, but they are in and look so cute!! August marked our 4th anniversary!! Crazy that it has already been 4 years, but in other ways it has seemed much longer than that! We didn't really do much but go to dinner and hang out at home together!! That's what happens when you are poor! But we still had a good time! Sept was a good, but sad month... My sister had to put her dog Lizzy down. She got a bone eating cancer in her leg which started out as a bump on her leg, and then just got bigger and bigger, and there wasn't anything they could do for her! So they spent a the few last months with her, and then one night she came in from outside, and my sister knew something wasn't right, and knew it was time. If any of you know my sister, her animals are her WORLD! They are her kids. And Lizzy in particular was her baby! So she was having a really hard time with everything. It is strange to go to her house now and not have her big dog there!! It's just not the same! But they just got a new puppy, Ruby. She is going to grow into a huge dog!! She is full Mastiff. But she is sooo dang cute!! We got to puppy sit her a few days and Kyri loved that!! She had so much fun!! The weekend before the 23rd, my cute cousin found out that she lost her baby!! It was soooo sad!! She was already pretty far along, which just made it even more sad!! She is so strong!! I don't know how she did it! They had a little dedication of the grave and she was able to bury him in the same spot with her grandma that passed away not to long ago. I am grateful for her example of strength. And that we have the knowledge that little Parker is in Heaven and that someday they will have the chance to raise him!! Love you Nichole!!! Then, on the 30th my mom had to put her dog Lilian down. She has had back problems for a while, and they just kept getting worse. Until lately she couldn't even walk right. If she decided to go farther than a little 2x2 square she would drag her back legs which caused her to get big sores on her back legs and bum!! It was so sad! We went up to say bye to her in the morning before she went to get put down. I couldn't help it but to just cry and cry. She has been part of our family for the last 7 years, so it was hard to think that she wasn't going to be around any more to slobber all over your leg. We will miss her lots, but now she is with her friend Lizzy!! And is no longer in pain!! Well that is pretty much life up to now!! Sorry for the novel, but I needed to catch up. Mainly for myself. I will hopefully get better at blogging again. There use to be a time that I loved to blog, and hopefully I can get back to that place!!! Now for some pictures!!

My baby turned 2!!!!

So my baby just turned 2! So crazy! Time is flying by. She is so much fun though! You can pretty much have a full on conversation with her. She talks so well. Even the doctor was impressed by how well she talks. She is just a smartie I guess. I don't take credit for doing anything special to teach her. I think I owe it all to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Dora... :) At her 2 year appointment she weighs 33 lbs and is 34 inches tall!! She is our chubba wubba!! :) So for her birthday we were just going to have a little get together in our back yard at our new place. But then the forecast called for rain, so we decided to go to Chuck E Cheese instead. It was lots of fun! All of our family was there! Kyri really enjoyed spending time with everyone. We just had butterfly cupcakes, played games, and enjoyed each others company. All in all it was a great day. :) Thank you to everyone who was able to make it. :)
Here is a little picture journey of Kyri!!

Finally.... A real blog post!

So it has been a long time since I really posted anything on my blog. I don't know what happened. I use to be so addicted to blogging, but lately not so much.... Well here is a little update on our family. Kyri will be 2 in May. Where did the last 2 years go?? She is growing up way to fast. But she is so much fun. She makes me laugh all day long. Yesterday we went outside to play for a little while and she saw some birds fly over her and she goes, "Birdies!" and I smiled and said "Yep!" Then she goes, "I talka birdies" me,"you are going to talk to the birdies?" her, "uh huh!" then she waited for a minute and then yelled at the top of her lungs, "BIRDIE!!!!" Maybe it really isn't all that funny unless you were there. :) To me it was funny. She is just a BIG ball of energy! She loves to be outside. I can't wait till it is warmer so we can be out there more often. She does love to play in her jumpy jump and watch movies in her room though. Me and Brandon are still the same. He still works at IM Flash, and I babysit about 2-3 times a week. We still live in Orem, but spend most of our time in American Fork. :) Why we ever decided to buy a house in Orem I don't know. But we are loving life, even though we have a bit of a tragedy happen in the last week. Most of you know that we found out about a month ago that we were going to have baby #2. We were excited and told everyone fairly early. Over that month, I have felt fine. No morning sickness, not a ton of nausea, nothing to complain about. Well a couple fridays ago i started to spot just a tiny bit. But I didn't think anything was wrong, because the next day nothing happened. Then again on Sunday it happen a tiny bit again, so I decided to call the dr on Monday morning and see what they said to do. They set me up an appointment for Tuesday to have an ultra sound just to make sure everything was ok. So I went into my appointment thinking nothing was wrong. That we were just going to go in and see our baby and then be ok. Well, that didn't happen. The ultrasound showed the baby measuring at 6 weeks, not the 9 that it should have been. So the lady asked is there a possibility that your dates are off? Well, sure? I don't know. Anything is possible. So then after the ultrasound, we had an appointment to meet with the dr to go over the ultrasound. As he looked at it, he said, i'm so sorry. It looks like you have had a miscarriage. He said that there wasn't anything that we needed to do now, so that we could wait and check in a couple of weeks again and see if there was any change. So we decided that we wanted to wait. He also had me go and get some blood drawn so they could check my HCG levels. So I had my blood drawn on tuesday and then had to go back in on Thursday to have it done again. So they FINALLY called on friday after playing the waiting game forever and informed us that the levels had gone down which ment bad news. So all in all if none of that made sense, I did lose the baby. It hasn't been easy, I am definately sad. Very very sad. But I know that it happened for a reason and that Heavenly Father knew what he was doing, by letting me get pregnant and there is something to learn by going through this. I am so thankful for all my family and friends who have been here with me through this tough time. I am so thankful for my knowledge of the gospel, and for my Heavenly Father. I know that he wouldn't put me through anything that I can't handle. No matter how hard it is. I am sorry to all of you who may find out through reading this post. I wish I could have called all of you to tell you, but so many people knew, and telling the story over and over is really hard. I couldn't have done it over and over. So I hope you understand and aren't hurt that I didn't call you or text you the news. I am doing fine though. I am ready to move forward and continue my life. I am grateful for my husband and for my baby girl who have made this whole thing much easier. I love you all and appreciate all the love and support from all of you!

Christmas.....

Ok, so I am a little behind the times here. But hey, better late than never. We had a good Christmas this year. Considering Brandon had to work from 630am-630pm. Kyri got super spoiled by everyone. She got a play kitchen, a bouncey horsey, and a mini trampoline with enclosure just to name the big things. She got MANY other things that she loves, but those were the highlights!! Especially the jumpy jump as she calls it. She loves that thing. It now lives in her bed room where it takes up half the room. But it is so worth it because it keeps her very entertained!! We put a tv and dvd player in there for her also and so she will sit for hours and jump and watch Dora. :) It is a very good babysitter. Especially for the days I need to get stuff done!! She recently has wanted to lay in it with her pillow and blanket. She sometimes takes naps in there now. She is a silly goose! She is very good at jumping now!! :) Gavin got to come to Utah for Christmas, so that was fun! He has been living in Arizona with his real dad for over a year now. It was fun to get to spend more time with him. I can't believe he is 6 already! We went to dinner the first night he got home and had lots of fun with everyone. Kyri especially had fun with him. We miss him lots now that he is gone. Not much has changed around here. Brandon is still working at IM Flash, I babysit 2 little kids about 3 days a week. Kyri is just growing like a weed. She talks so much now. She is growing up too fast. I am going to be doing a boutique on Jan 29th and 30th with our Sew Simply Sweet stuff. My sister in law has started to make hand stamped jewelery and I will hopefully have some of that there. I will also be selling my aunts super cute crochet headbands with flowers on them, along with all the other stuff we have. Like the car seat covers, the dresses, crayon roll ups, and super cute fabric flower clips. When I know the address I will post it. You all should come out and see me. It will either be in Lehi or Eagle Mtn. Well here are some pictures of Christmas and dinner with Gavin! Enjoy!
Us @ Chilis for dinnerKyri's 1st Trax ride! She was super tired!
We said goodbye to our bunny right before Christmas. As much as we loved him he wasn't getting the attention he deserved! So we gave him to our good friend Hollie who has 3 older kids to love him and take good care of him. As greatful as I was to see him go to a good home, I still cried when Kyri was saying bye to him!! This is her doing that. Christmas Eve at Maimes house.

Christmas morning we did Santa at Grandma Arlenes house.
After she got to open presents in the morning she thought every present she saw was hers. :)
