Tory needs...

Ok, so here is another one! If you are sick of seeing these then I'm sorry but this one was actually funny with my name this time.
Same rules as the "Tory likes to.." but now it's "Tory needs"

1- Tory needs to find a seat, and soon. (I don't know what for?)
2- Tory needs obedience training, weight loss, and some work on her habit of urine marking before she will be ready. (I guess I am naughty? I agree with the weight loss, and if I don't pee on things how will people know it is mine?)
3- Tory needs to eat more of those organic lamb feta patties in the Berkeley dining hall. (Doesn't sound very good to me!)
4- Tory needs David's help again when she discovers a woman's body has been stuffed in a manhole while she's inspecting a community development site. (YIKES!!!)
5- Tory needs a Tebbit. (not sure what that is.)
6- Tory Needs to Go. (Go where?)
7- Tory needs your help! (PLEASE!)
8- Tory needs to become a Steelers fan and not a Cowboys fan. (I didn't know that I cared so much!)
9- Tory needs to lay off the Krispy Kremes. (Ok, ok, I know I need to lose some weight. You don't have to keep reminding me.)
10- Tory needs a hug. (I love hugs!)

Ok so I did cheat a little. I didn't pick the first 10. I picked the best ones because a lot of them were about this John Tory guy and they made him seem like a bad guy so I didn't want those. Plus, I'm not a guy!!

Brandon likes to.......

I saw this on someones blog and thought it looked like fun! Here's what you do

8- Brandon likes to make farting noises on my stomach. (ha ha ha. Sad but if I let him this would be true!!)

10- Brandon likes to take pictures of himself. (oh really?)

What a bad day!!!! (WARNING, long post ahead!!)

So yesterday was a bad day! It very much so could have been even worse, but someone was watching out for Brandon. He woke up for work and left at his normal time. I, like always, went back to sleep after saying bye. Well my sleep got interrupted by my phone ringing. When you hear your phone ring at almost 6 in the morning when you are not expecting for it to, it usually makes your heart skip a beat because usually there is something wrong. Well unfortunately that WAS the case in this situation. It was Brandon and he said he had just wrecked his car. Now I'm still half asleep and he wasn't explaining it well so of course I was FREAKED out!! He did explain that he was ok though which helped, but still. So I immediately get scared and I started to cry. Well after a few phone calls back to me because he kept saying that he would call me back, I got a straighter story from him. (oh, and I was also freaked because if he is late to work he will get fired. So on top of the accident I was scared that he was going to be fired. But luckily he made it with seconds to spare.) So what happened was he was almost to work and was on the Alpine highway when all of the sudden his left contact fell out. Well like most people would have done, he glanced down to see if he could see it. He looked down at the moment that there was a bend in the road so when he looked back up he could see that he was headed straight for the beginning of a cement barrier on the side of the road. So, to avoid hitting it straight on and probably getting killed, he swerved and missed it but by doing so it made him start to fish tail. Well while fish tailing he over corrected himself and it threw the passenger side of his car right into the barrier, making the air bags deploy, and made the car stop completely and face sideways in the lane he was in. So after getting out and assessing the damage, he tried to start the car and luckily it started and so he was able to move out of the lane and onto the side of the road. Well after deciding that the car worked and that he really didn't want to be fired he continued to drive his car to work driving on the shoulder of the road with his hazards on, his airbags out and the windshield busted on the passenger side because when the airbags deployed the part of the dashboard that covers the airbags slammed into the window. Nice way to get to work I know. But he had no other choice. Well he continued on at work with one contact still, being sweet and allowing me to keep sleeping (yeah, like I was really sleeping that great after that phone call. And what sleep I did get was filled with weird car dreams.) until me and Kyri got up for the day and could take him a new contact. Well we get up and get ready and I go out to start my car and I could not get it to start for anything. I tried so many times, but still nothing. (My car has been having some problems lately. That's a whole nother story.) So on top of Brandons smashed car, my stupid car would not start. Luckily my brothers wife was home and was willing to take me to Brandon. Anyway, that is my lovely day for yesterday. The only thing I can really say about the whole situation is thank you Heavenly Father for keeping Brandon safe. The situation does suck, but I still have my husband all in one piece and that is all that matters to me!! With an adjusting of the front of the car and a new windshield and the airbags taken care of the car will be just fine. (Oh, and Brandon got my car to start today.)


Here is the car. I should have gotten a better picture of the front of it because it's all scraped up and the license plate is nice and smashed. (p.s.- the hubcap was already missing before the accident)

2- My husband! He loves me no matter what I look like or how much house work I do, or don't do is more like it!
3- Seeing Brandon with Kyri and the cute little bond that they have.
4- Spending time with my family and friends! I love to see them!
5- Food usually makes me happy!
6- And last but definitely not least, knowing that my family is forever!!
